Yes, you can import data from other GPS devices so long as it is in the .GPX format. When creating a SPOT Adventure, you can either start with a blank map or begin with your SPOT messages. Either way, you'll have an option to import GPS data while you are in the map editing screen. SPOT Adventures also allows you to import photos and videos from services such as: Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and YouTube.  Currently you are only able to import GPX files that are exported from your Spot account.
