One of the most popular features of SPOT is sharing your location with your friends and family.
You can set-up a URL through
the shared pages feature on your account at https://login.findmespot.com for your
friends to view your GPS points. Don’t forget to send the link to those
you know or have SPOT send the link by filling out some fields under
your shared pages account feature. This real time feature uses the
Google Maps that we all love.
Share your adventure with just a few simple steps:
1. Log in to your account at https://login.findmespot.com
2. Click on the "Share" tab
3. Then click on Create Shared
Page. From here, you can set up a share page. You can open the link of
a newly created share page and share it with your friends and family by
copying, pasting and emailing the link of the page after you open it. Or, simply enter the recipients and have SPOT send the link for you by following the instructions.
When
you come back to your account. You can always create more shared pages
or see the existing ones that you've created under "Manage Shared
Pages". Have fun sharing your adventure!
Note on Shared Pages and SPOTadventures:
If you have created your free profile at SPOTadventures.com, you will notice that under your profile view, there is a location for a Live Map. Live Maps are based on your shared pages. Whatever shared pages you have created, they will appear in your Live Map feeds as different tabs.
Therefore, if you want to take advantage of the Live map features in SPOTadventures.com, you will need to create shared pages in your login.findmespot.com account.
In your SPOTadventures.com profile, you can click on edit profile and there is an option to hide any Live Feed Map that you may have. Another option, if you have multiple Live Map Feeds appearing under your Feed Names in your profile, is to set a certain one as the default view.
